Notes on Style and Fashion

It’s Alice Temperley

Posted on: September 21, 2007

About a month ago, I wrote that Erin Fetherston would be creating a collection for Target’s GO. International. I read this news on Target’s own press page. While it is true that she is designing a line for Target, it won’t hit stores until November (a misreading on my part). Instead, it is Alice Temperley, whose Spring 2008 collection I adore, bringing her vision to the chain store. Though she is a British designer, it seems to me that what she’s designed for Target has a bit of a French country flair.

I’m excited. I’ve made plans to buy the sailor pants in ebony.

I bought a beautiful sweater this past weekend at Target and it is stunning. The line came out on Saturday and is selling out pretty fast. I had to drive up to Germantown (Milestone shopping center) to get the best selection. Good luck!

la fashionista has had an interest in fashion and style since childhood when she first saw her mother dress in the various fashion of the 80s. Her mother was also a great seamstress, which was a definite influence on la fashionista's foray into fashion. Sadly, her mother's sewing talent did not get passed on to la fashionista.

But that doesn't mean that she doesn't still love talking about fashion. Because she does!
